M3 suspension upgrades...what year M3

Hi all.
Just got an '08 128 coupe, 6 speed MT with 45k. I would like to do some suspension upgrades. I've seem a lot of M3 part upgrades as options. My question is...What year M3 parts are interchangeable? In particular, rear subframe bushings and front control arms.
Thanks!

Yeah as PJ said, anything from a 2006 E90 M3 to a 2013 E92 or E93 M3 will work.

E9x M3 came out in 2008, 2006 was still the E46.

I knew there were models before 2008 but I forgot how early they went. On realOEM it shows 2007 build E90 M3s. Not sure how accurate that is though.

Either way, any E9x M3 will do haha.

2007 build for a 2008 model year. People talk about model years when discussing dates. My car for example is a 2010 but was built in Oct '09.

Yeah? I thought when you talked about model year it was the build date as it was the build date that determined when certain model changes happened.

My car was bought in 2009 but the build date was 10/08 so I call it an 08 model car for enthusiast purposes. 2009 for insurance, registration and sales purposes though

Changes are determined by model year generally. My car for example has all the 2010 changes, despite being built in '09.
