Hi,

I had a 2008 135i Vert and traded it in after 2 short years for a 328 X-Drive M-Sport Coupe.
Had some major N55 Engines Woes which forced me to sell. I have missed it ever since.
I like my 3er but it is no rocket sled like my previous Vert....and it's not a Vert.

Anyway, i have just traded it in for a 2012 135i Vert!

Picking up on Monday.

Space Grey Metallic/Black Leatherette
6MT
M-Sport
Some other options i cannot recall.

Wondering what the best and simplest mods are to consider.

Check out the BMW PPK tune. BMW will flash the tune in the car in about 2 hours at any dealer. Gives a nice little bump in hp/tq and it doesnt effect your warranty.
What issues with the N55 did you experience?

On my 08 one of the turbos went.
Had hpfp issues.
Various issues like 3rd brakelight falling out time and again.
It was in the shop too often.

08 is N54 not N55...

I drove mine for probably the last time last night returning from the airport and I took the long way home.

cosmetic or performance?

Cosmetic: wheels and grilles.
Performance: PPK and FMIC.

Im doing the PPK for my 335i next week

Right, the original was n54....typo.
I am considering the ppk but was also wondering about any interior upgrades and cosmetic upgrades.
