I am not sure what is taking so long with this. All that needs to be done is to take the exact same gauge unit and put it in a 1 series vent.

I have noticed a trend of vendors disappearing and not updating their "customers" in dealing with a couple products on this forum. I am not sure if it has to deal with the economy or the fact that we cannot get the products anywhere else so the vendors just take their time? All I know is it is not good business.

i think the majority of aftermarket companies focus on the 335 since there is a way bigger market, which means that us 1-series owners often get put on the backburner.... Look at e90post and how quick products come out for them. O well..

We also took the time to do some testing of our sensors (we use a different type of sensor than other electronic boost gauges, more expensive, faster response, more accurate), and we actually proved it to be 99.8% accurate up to over 60psi!

Here is a review from a reputable shop, they installed the 335 version, give you guys something to read: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=202381

This ain't your grandma's boost gauge
Just a thought - don't really need to overthink the plumbing on this one. I think a lot of people (myself included) would be happy with just a boost gauge that cleanly integrates into the vent with an OEM look, without the other features.

I'll second that! Or maybe do both versions for those with a reflash or the wrong piggy. I hate to pay (or wait) for features I won't be using. And as far as the lockout, the mere presence of this boost gauge should be more than enough to tell anyone who cares that you aren't running stock boost levels.

So... any chance of a "gauge lite" that just indicates boost level?

I feel your pain man (we are waiting for 2 of the same things). Luckily I am over here in Iraq so I don't feel it as acutely as you

its even worse when you see the same company that's telling us to wait patiently release a 2nd version of their boost gauge for the 3series, http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240907

I agree with having a simple boost gauge, i'm not looking for all these extra options, the lower the price, the better.

I understand about being in Iraq and having better things to think about than whether or not these "items" are being finished. Although, I haven't been to Iraq as the farthest east I have been in Incirlik for 5 months in a tent. My current job at depot doesn't put me in buckets to go over but we can leave at a moment's notice to do so.

asking that question is like asking when will there finally be peace in Iraq. we all know it will happen some day....... we just don't know when.

same thing with this boost gauge. I'm gonna get rid of my car by the time the damn thing comes out. it's almost ridiculous...........

Im not going to complain. It just means when the 1s does come out it will have all that functionality. I really HATE having to constantly uprade this...send that in....harness this...swap that..... red hand on blue....now cha cha real nice....

According to his post on the e90 board, we're still a few months out:
