I did!! I got a ticket 29 Days after I got my car! >.< going 78 on the freeway! I didnt even have my license plate =T

in cali, you 90 days to drive the car with that tempoary plates the dealer put on you windsheild. just 29 days??? i got my car in july and got my plates in sept, havent got pulled over yet. knock of wood..

Knock on wood... still none so far. I set my speed limit to 60 kph (city speed limit) in my idrive so the car chimes when I go beyond it. There are lots of temptation to be heavy on the gas pedal with a powerful car like this one. The chime is just a reminder but it does it job.

I got a ticket the day I got my car from PCD in South Carolina. Actually, it was my friend who came with me who got the ticket.
We were on the road for about 1 1/2 hours into our trip back to MD from SC when he got pulled over. I let him drive for a little bit and he got caught doing 75 in a 60.

Isn't Timberlake St. in VA Beach?! I got a Reckless right before I moved back to CA a few months ago. Got caught driving onto the incoming lane. However, went to court and got it reduced to improper driving. For some ODD yet GREAT reason, NO points on the record! Good luck on that ticket.

Yep... I got my first ticket on my second week of owning my car :mad: I was doing 160 km/h in a 120 km/h zone.

Two weeks ago, I almost got into trouble for doing 200 km/h in a 120 km/h zone. It was a very close shave for me, but I think the Alfa guy in front of me went to jail or paid a huge fine.

We (3 cars) were all doing between 180 km/h and 200km/h... and I was second from front. I had been in front for the most part, as the guy behind me was "using" me as a shield in case there was trouble

... he wouldn't overtake me... he slowed down everytime I did.....

Luckily for me, an Alfa overtook us.... I kept about 150 metres behind him. Suddenly, a cop came out of nowhere, and for a split second I thought he was going to stop me rather than the Alfa... that has happened to me in the past... the cop would stop me even though there was a car in front of me..... it was my lucky day

, as he only stopped the Alfa.... poor guy, I wonder what happened to him.

I drive them both, they are both e90's, and they are both my family's. I take care of them both given my sister doesnt know a thing anyways.

I got pulled over for proceeding before the green here in Ottawa, it was total bogus. Not that I haven't deserved a few tickets since I got the car, but I saw them behind me the whole time and was even taking it slow as I had winter wheels in boxes in the back seat. I'm taking them to court, but it's gonna be just my word against his ... hmmm, who's the judge gonna believe?
