I can now confirm that the clutch shudder has gotten better. When driving this morning, I could barely even notice it. This afternoon - I was looking for it and it's not there. Perhaps the clutch plate just needed time to wear back to original position or something!!!

Yay...my car is good as new...

*shakes my b ooo tey*

and I've gotten over 700km's (and I still have a little diesel left) --- waiting for the price to go down tomorrow (30c a litre decrease) YaY

30c down now, but in January we get the even better quality diesel, and you are going to have to test again if the more expensive one is better

When it (the LOWER sulphur diesel) comes, I'll do another test.

The difference between the .3% and the .05% was HUGE. Noticable from the first tank. So if the difference is big...then I will pay the money...(bearing in mind - the current .05% diesel is +-30c more a litre than petrol, so the new "lower" sulphur diesel will be REALLY more expensive than petrol...so I donno)

Do you know when exactly all the garages will have the .05%?

I noticed shell just launched Vpower Diesel (which is selling along with their normal DieselTech) - I believe it's still the .03% sulphur...which doesn't make sense --- Why launch a new diesel brand - when in Jan you should be remarketing the new improved low sulphur??

Basically, I want to know that I can only use low sulphur when driving down to durbs mid Jan...

Back home it's fine to plan fill ups and always use Sasol (in rivonia) but on holiday - i might need diesel when I need it...

All refinaries have to switch on 1 january 2006

Vpower petrol switches to 95 Octane
Vpower diesel becomes the new extra low sulphur

All stations will then start recieving 0.5% for their normal tanks

So all deliveries from january will be the new fuels

Shell are just getting a jump on the labeling of their pumps for the new fuel.
