I think is is the artificial look of these pics. (with shadows) The E60 pics had the same strange look. In normal light (sun) the car looks very strong and muscular. |

s750foj - good job on your photochops! I think you're photoshopping the stretched pics of the E92 though? Do you have the regular unstretched ones you can photoshop instead cause it makes a big difference in how the car looks.

wow... the official pics that BMW released are not very flattering, but from the PS's you guys have done.... such as the AW with CSL's and the black with the M6 wheels, the car looks amazing. I think BMW just released some bad pictures of the car. I know that personally i really dislike the non-sport 325, but i love the way the 330 sport looks. Its a bunch of little differences on a car that can make a huge difference. If you look at the whole car itself, its almost the same to the e90 except for the 5er styled grills. There really is no need to nitpick...
Ill be the first to admit it. Im pissed i dont have one....

For photos from E90 sedan with ACC, you can refer to http://www.bmw-drivers.de/viewtopic.php?t=16776 for example. |

Looks like a Camry. They could have made it a bit more aggressive looking. I guess they are saving that for the M3.

I love the Sedan but do not need four doors, so I have been waiting for the Coupe. I have to say my only complaint with the Sedan was the tail. The e46 had a nice aggressive squared off rear and the e90 looked a little squished together when viewed from behind, the e92 seems to have cured it. Also could someone p-shop a original picture in the non-metallic (cheap) red, as that is what I am going to order.

I am not saying we should kill the stupid people, we should just remove the warning labels off of everything and let nature take it's course. |

The reason, I think, is that the airport photo is taken from a real life perspective (guy standing up) with real life lighting with real life objects nearby to provide perspective. These first PR photos (which are terrible... I think only Chevy releases worse PR photos then BMW) are bizarre. They are taken from perspectives you'll rarely be in, such as ground level, overhead, etc. The colors, lighting, etc also do look highly altered as well, giving them a kind of "unreal" perspective. I don't know why BMW does this to their photos. The same was true of the E90 and M5 recently, both of which have been much more flatteringly photographed by magazines that have reviewed them than by the company itself. I think your visceral reaction to the airport photos (positive) will more mirror your reaction when you finally see the car. This happened with me with the E90. With PR and magazine photos, I didn't like it that much. When owners started posting their photos, I was far more impressed. And in person, I very much like the E90. - Garris |

And no, not everyone's in a rush to get blacklines - I wouldn't spend $300 to uglify my car... |
