Rear Spoiler Installed
Installed trunk spoiler on my 135i vert, simple and "understated".
I didn't want CF. Purchase on eBay pre-painted ($70 shipped). Very good quality, fits perfectly and conforms to curves of trunk with judicious use of heat gun. Plus adhesive tape bonds very well when heat applied |

Nice. What's it made of, and how will it stand up over time?

Appears to be some kind of high density thermo plastic. Placed order on eBay with paint code - arrived in less than a week from China - FedEx.
Paint quality is excellent and conformance to complex curves with applied heat is great. Started in middle of trunk and worked out to edges removing backing tape a little at a time as I shaped the spoiler to match the edge of the trunk. I made sure the trunk lip was super clean and all the wax had been removed. Adhesion of double sided tape "feels" very high particularly with the heat from a heat gun. Minimal gap between spoiler and trunk. Definitely worth $70 ! |

Great addition there. The spoiler accents the trunk nicely and the fitment looks spot on.
