wow ! really nice combo tierfreund... what kind of stereo is that BTW ? its been integrated nicely into the very unique shape of the stock stereo and the color matches too

Thanks.

It´s an aftermarket Stereo / Navigation unit by Becker. (Twin-FM RDS-Tuner with excellent reception as well). Mated to an IPod in the center armrest via an icelink Plus.

I´m still working on seperate crossover /DSP with time correction / Amplifier / speaker setup. Will see where that leads me. I´m aiming at going better than the Logic 7. (Though I might be using the Logic 7 subs: I don´t think i can beat their combination of invisible, clever, deep clear bass)

The mounting plate is by BMW, so it matches nicely. The Radio display would not have matched normally (it would have been blood red), but I soldered in 68 new SMD-LED´s to make the colour match the other BMW display (don´t ask how long that took me

holy crap, that sounds amazing, you must be really good with electronics and all, you are a tue BMW fan for sure for making the stereo LED match

Well after my E46 was stolen I had 3 months with a Mini Cooper to look forward to the E90. So I had to do something to soothe myself.
Preparing a stereo for the E90 was nice therapy

I´ve been bit by the IASCA bug before...

Actually, I believe that is the Sparkling Graphite. One of my family member car...Due to the shot from a distance under the shade of the tree, it looks like black.
