m3 questions (drop-in m5 engine)?

well putting the m5 motor in the m3 isnt a new thing at all!!!
hertga(i think) put a m5 motor in a e46, but the review i read about it said it was hard to controll!! is bmw just gonna put an m5 motor in the new m3 or are they gonna mod it alittle?

NO, new M3 engine is a V8 not V10 like M5/M6

Hartge had to make big modifications to get the E39 V8 into the E46 and the car was too heavy in the nose so didnt handle very well

M3 V-8 will be same design as V-10 for M5 minus the 2 cylinders of course.

yeah and more importantly...it will have the 7 speed smg...

Ive been told 6 Speed manual and 6 Speed SMG
