Question Gloss Vinyl wrap?

My brother just took his lambo in to get wrapped and the owner said to stay away from gloss wraps because they show every swirl like regular paint. Does anyone know if that's true? If so whats the point if the cars going to look like shit after a couple months of washing and road debris? Im OCD with swirls on paint(black car) so i just couldn't see spending upwards of 3k for a wrap that will look bad in no time and something you have to remove after 3-5 years.

Not sure but for that price you could repaint your car every 3-5 years.

However I'm sure there are polishers developed for vinyl out there somewhere.

I think the bigger issue with gloss wrap is they scratch VERY easily. I did the roof on my Z coupe and had them put a layer of clear bra OVER the gloss wrap to protect it. It's been on for over a year and it's held up really well. No swirls from detailing neither.
