How to prevent rust on rear rotor center section?

About to have all new BMW rotors installed. How do prevent the center hubs of rear rotors from rusting? The front rotor hubs don't seem to rust. Thanks

What I do is give each center hub a generous coat of anti-seize with the wheel off.

It keeps the hub from rusting and keeps the wheel from sticking when you're trying to remove it.

I painted mine with the Caliper paint, silver, but black would work. I did the same for front also. I uses Caliper paint because it can take the heat. I took the spray can and sprayed it in a cup, then used a brush to paint. That way you don't have to take thing apart. I learned this little trick years ago. And no you can NOT tell it was painted with a brush.

That's a good idea. Might give it a go on mine.
