Ordered them a few weeks ago from East Bay BMW (Pleasanton, CA). Retail $1950. Ditched FR tires for 225/255 RE760s.

Looks a little odd here because the suspension hasn't settled but the wheels really do look great IMO.

Did you wire your V1 to the interior light? Was is easy to do if you did?

Those wheels are great - not only do they look gorgeous and very in-keeping with the car's appearance, they are also ridiculously easy to clean.

Do you know if your setup will be illegal in California with the crappy "no window suction cup law" that was pushed though by the insurance lobby? Your GPS and V1 clearly don't obstruct your vision, but you never know...

Can you do me a favour and take a picture of the windscreen from the outside? I want to know how visible your V1 is where it is mounted.

You see radar detectors are illegal where I am and I need to mount mine somewhere inconspicuous like behind the tinted area of the windscreen like you have.

I have built-in nav, so I had put my V1 in the same spot you placed your nav. Not ideal for a radar detector, but it works and looks good there!

Looks very good. Just make sure you don't leave the Nuvi and V1 in the window if you ever park on the street in SF--I've seen cars broken into for the Fastlane pass!

Btw, where did you go to get the tint done?

+1 and +1

If you've got that V1 hardwired I'd love to get your advise on that. I think you chose the best location for it.
