Ok then, what would my CF bits be worth separately, and is anyone interested?

Mirror caps for an '08, 3 years old
Front kidney grilles - 6 months old, as new
Rear diffuser - 6 months old, as new
Interior trim - 6 months old, as new

Cost all up - $3,500
Did you pay $3500 for them or are you looking to sell them for a total of $3500? Are they BMW Performance parts or iCarbon?

Also I suggest keeping all your goodies until you can find buyers for them - (interested in diffuser myself!). Once you know how much take off your asking price (less the carbon bits) then compare that figure to other 125i on the market and until you're confident it will sell at the new price then go ahead.

It's no point to strip all that bling if you can only afford to shave a grand off the asking price.

Paid $3,500 for them. The diffuser is iCarbon. The spoiler, mirror caps and interior trim are genuine BMW parts.

I'd rather not bother removing the parts, and sell the car as a package.

Thanks for your info about the car Rick. It's on my shorlist at this stage- just FYI though, although your ad claims they're fitted, from what I can see, it doesn't have front parking sensors, nor does it have heated seats.

Cozza, be patient. Dropping the price just shows desperation - the car is great value for the price and someone will snap it up. You just need to be patient and wait for the right someone to come along - sought of like cheesy romcom.

Might help to put a for sale sign and park it in an up and coming area. There's a stretch of highway up here where people park sale cars on the weekend and I could probably swear more cars change hands this way than all the dealers put together!

No offense but that is like prostituting your car out big time. I would never sell my car this way. Well maybe my old ute but not my beemer, no way. I wouldn't feel comfortable parking and leaving it there.

+ 1 I don't think it's a good idea. Most of those cars are under 5k.

I thought about doing that. Back in 1993 I sold a car by parking at the local service station with tear off phone numbers. Sold it in 3 hours for more than I had bought it for a month earlier!

Hey Paul, iv got some spares as I bought a 10pack for myself. Will give your jb4cable back too!
One filter will set you back.....$13!

Only thing is the white boxes they come in have some oil stains on them cause I carelessly left an oily rag on top and the cardboard absorbed some oil

Hi guys,

I've had a look through the forum a few months back when I first purchased my 08 135i unfortunately I never joined up because I only had it for a month. To my unbeknowns the seating position on the beemer gave me immense back pain after about 20min of driving and this would last all day at work. Its not the cars fault its my dodgy tight hamstrings that when seated low and stretched out give me back pain. So in the first week of owning the car I had a full exhaust put on the car and 3 weeks later it was pulled of when it was sold.

I don't like to post when I haven't contributed anything to the forum community but this exhaust has been sitting in my garage since april and really only has 3 weeks of use on it and I want it gone.

I'm looking for $1800 for the lot

Thanks
Jaz
