Utility Box (Ashtray replacement)

Has anyone got the utility box instead of the ashtray replacement?

I am thinking of replacing mine as I have no need for the ash tray - not to mention I kinda broke it while wrapping my interior .

Just wanted to get some better pictures of it if anyone have it.

Also if anyone is this the correct part number?

I wish they did a utility box with a lid - best of both worlds.

I like the lid but I don't need the extra 12v socket and I'd like more space in there...

Yeah I don't mind not having a lid which means I can store my stuff in there (items which may protrude out!).

Looks I will have some fun removing my center console again

I actually prefer the ashtray as i use it for coins. You can pull the ashtray out with your hand and search for which coin you need. Cant fit much but at least they're neat and hidden away.

I HATE coins rattling around when I go round corners/over bumps/etc... Otherwise I would do exactly that.

Used to do something similar before E-Toll...

You know there's a storage cubby to the right of the steering column don't you?

Only reason I ask is that I didn't know about it for at least a couple of months after getting my car - then saw a photo someone had taken of that area and went and check my car...
