Thank you to Beverly Hills BMW for their support of the autocross program!

Last day to register online: Fri May 18, 2012

Entrance to Auto Club Speedway and the LA BMW CCA autocross is free. If you don't plan on driving in the autocross, please drop by and see what these events are all about and ride passenger with one of our driving instructors.

Registration is $65 if you pay in advance and $75 (cash only) if you register at the event. Your entry fee includes instruction, lunch and waters. Extra lunches are $7 each, and helmet rentals are $10. Please note that you must be a BMW CCA member to attend this event. If you are not currently a member, please visit http://www.bmwcca.org and join.

The gates open at 6:00. Registration and tech open at 7:00. There will be a mandatory driver's meeting at 8:30. First car out will be at 9:00. The event will end by 5:00 or dusk.

When at Auto Club Speedway, please respect posted speed limits and other traffic signs. We like having a place to play and would hate for "one bad apple" to ruin it for everyone.

walk-up, day-of registration is still an option if you miss today's online deadline.

I wanted to get out there and make this one, but I had a gig to do for the Ferrari racing team this past weekend. Sorry I couldn't make it. How was the turn out?

I'll try to be there for Tire rack event though.

The turnout was light. Bad for the club finances, but good for the drivers. The day moved fast and efficient. By noon, all drivers had driven 11 laps. The lap length was between 80 and 90 seconds. Everyone got 5 timed laps for a total of 16. We were done by 3. Out of the lot by 4. It was a good event. We just need to trick more BMW commuters into becoming BMW drivers.
