Looks like a mule. Where's the M-ish mirrors? Greats pics anyway, what are the odds we will get a chance to take a pic like this? OP deserves a photog award.

Make the seats like the Recaro Sporster CS or something. The M3 seats just don't cut it, the Evo X's seats are better!

For Reference:
http://www.recaro.com/us/product-are...rtster-cs.html

All dimensions can be found there, as well as inspiration for all seats in future M/IS cars.

The Ones seats are part way there... Now you just need the shoulder support and 5 point belt holes.

Thank you for your time.

They have started final prototype production at Leipzig which is a reason why the Leipzig Tours are suspended for the current time.

We will be getting to do our work on the interior soon as it was not finalized when we shot the car , which is normally the case when we get the first cars ,some are not final so we have to make do with what we have to begin with. In this case the visual aspects were completed , but some testing remains so we use clever sound-editing to enhance the sound to match the final product and we do pick-up secondary shots within a studio and on the road etc when the car is final. It is very few and far between that a finished BMW is used in initial publicity filming and photography, call it being a perfectionist. But this goes for every manufacturer.
But by the time of official launch material for press drives etc everything is final.

The 1M will be tested right through it's launch so the car is as pure as it says it will be.
Thanks for the extra info.

No CF roof and what appears to be no PowerDome™

The angle is bad for seeing if the PowerDome™ is there and I do feel like, after seeing the Active E 1 series with the PowerDome™ hood it will be included in the 1M

Also appears to lack 1-series LCI tail lights but once again the angle isn't good enough to make a final decision on that.

These are the first pictures I've seen in which it appears they have managed to eliminate the pot-bellied look associated with the curves below the doors. Seems like all of the renders still have the pot-bellied look. Hope this prototype is closer to the real deal.

The first mule/prototype we saw was Sedona Red. Doesn't mean that that colour will ultimately be available.

They chop regular 1ers to build these things so it figures that there will be different coloured ones and Scott has previously said they choose dark ones for night time stealth!

However I am still hopeful for at least one blue as that would be my preference too!
