First 2010 Tri-State 1addicts meet 3/21/10
What's up everyone. Time for the first Tri-State 1addicts meet of the decade!
When: 12pm-5pm 3/21/10 Sunday Where: GPNY or Grand Prix New York 333 North Bedford Road Mount Kisco, New York 10549 TELEPHONE: 914-241-3131 For those of you coming from NJ as I am, I'd be more than happy to meet you and cruise to GPNY together. The details to this are as follows. Meeting point: Exit 168 Rest Stop on Garden State Parkway, at the very end of the parking lot before the onramp to the GSP. Time: 10:45AM, depart rest stop by 11:00am 3/21/10 We will stay as late as 11:00am just to make sure everyone who could be running late has time to get there and some of you are coming from south and west. My cell # is (201)704-5859 in case you need to reach me or if you have any questions. Track Specifications: * Two European-inspired race tracks * 1/4 + mile in length each * SIX different track configurations * 6-feet of elevation change & 24-foot width * 14 turns per track I just spoke with their Events coordinator just to see what a group of our typical size would be like and we could do a pre-paid group event there for up to 24 people.. 2 races per person - $80 3 races per person - $100 4 races per person - $120 This would be all inclusive and would reserve our group ahead of time to beat the typical Sunday crowd that will race there. If you would be interested in doing the pre-arranged group race, we will need to pay in advance. I will need a min of 20-24 people to arrange this so please decide quickly and send me a PM and I will add you to the official list. Once I have the min headcount, I will start asking for payments. I accept Paypal or money order/cash for this. If we do not meet the payment requirements or people decide to bail out last min, I will promptly refund your funds. There is a nice restaurant onsite and it should be a fun drive up to Mt. Kisco. With the weather being the biggest wildcard, I will post a snowdate of 3/21/09 (Sunday also) same time and location. Hope to see you all there! Please RSVP and add yourself to the list + # of races you'd like to do. You may also attend and not race, but I highly advise you to join us! -D Official List: 1.)AchtungE30 + 1 - 2 races paid 2.)BrokenVert - 2 races paid 3.)Chesterfan1230 - 2 races paid 4.)acivick - 2 races paid 5.)tcd223 6.)snerts - 2 races paid 7.)KingOfJericho - 2 races 8.) davidjbak -2 races paid 9.) ///M1 - 2 races paid 10.) frimmelnojerz

Ooooh nice, and on the day of my B-day too Put me down for 4 races!
What does this price include? I already have an annual membership and normal arrive and drive races are only 20 bucks a pop. lol, this would mark my third time going on my B-day

Snertz, This is what I was told. The event coordinator at GPNY posts on the bimmerpost so I am sure he will chime in. I'm not trying to make a profit here.

We should all meet up before the event and have a nice drive up to this place I've been wanting a good drive for a while. I hope i can mount my summer tires by then....My winter tires feel like marshmallows

Where are you coming from? A good meeting point could be the GSP rest stop by exit 168.

I'm coming from Hasbrouck Heights, near garden state plaza. GSP exit 168 rest point is a perfect area for me...pretty close. I say we gauge interest on people who can meet up here...It'd be nice to have a good drive before the event.

Might be up for the cruise. But can we not do anything too crazy. By that time in march I will have not driven for over 2 months.

People will need to stay together and I'll adjust speed accordingly. No need for all of us to get pulled over just to see what JB3 vs procede can do.

Let me know for sure if you are racing or not and/or if your partner is joining you. I'd like to see if we can establish the group rate.
