Just a friendly reminder, parking will be designated...All 1's will have their special spot! so please try to come early between 8:30-9:30am!!! =) and for those planning to leave before 1pm, please let me know ahead of time. you will have to park elsewhere since the common grounds will be closed in due to the activities around 1pm...we can't have cars going in and out around that time...thanks!!! =)

I stopped by for about an hour at the meet. Lots of bling bling cars, and many purpose-built machines... Very nice variety... Saw one SGM 135i and chatted a little with the proud owner (Hi again!) and a BSM 128i parked next to it. Both cars were very nice...
Wished there were more 1'ers there though...
Looking forward to seeing some photos of the cars from those who snapped a few. Although I don't know if I can handle the trauma of seeing pics of the silicone-injected-anorexic-cellulite-queens.

I was there from 12 to 1. I saw Evo's white 135i parked towards the back.

That was my black 128i sport/prem/bluetooth/nav. We had 2 other 129i's show up. Fred and his White 135 and Robert and his 135. Troy took some great pictures of our cars after the end of the day in the back parking lot area. We called it the First meeting of 1Addicts 1 series owners in SoCal. (too many first and 1's in that)

Troy should be posting them soon.

First time ever going to something like this for me. Was interesting to say the least. Free Food, Drinks, and prizes. Lots of kool cars. My kids spent the morning waxing my car at the show (see, kids are good for something). They quickly got bored however as there were not enough cars

Were those pics taken later in the afternoon?
I only spotted the SGM & BSM cars parked up front around noon time.
Now I wish I had stayed a little longer...

I took those shots at the end of the day. I arrived with my SGM at about 9:40. James showed up with his black 128 about 25 minutes later - and Fred arrived with his alpine white at about 1ish.

It was great meeting you guys. Troy, man I love your camera. I got there around 12:00 and walked around for a bit before I found you guys. We should have a 1 meet in about a month or so. Hopefully it's not just 3 cars again hehe. There's a street legal drag next sat at Fontana (Cali Speedway). Anyone interested in seeing how their 1 does in the 1/4 mile? I'm contemplating going to get a baseline stock run (went back to work and pulled the exhaust off so it's back to stock). I'll be there if I get the car back from KW on Friday.

I would love to but my car wont be here for another two months, although I will be at Fontana next week on Saturday for the AMA motorcycle races, I would be interested in seeing the 1er in action.

I'll do my best to come to any meeting/gathering that's setup :biggrin: - I'll bring the camera.

People were talking about getting a convoy together for Bimmerfest too. I know you'll be there ahead of time with the ER135 - We'll come pay you a visit at the show :wink:
