Drivers Seat Height Coupe

I have been getting annoyed with my 135i Coupe lately regarding the height of the drivers seat, I can't get it low enough compared to my 118d hatchback I recently sold. In the hatch I could get the seating position perfect down on the floor but in the Coupe I can get it low enough and its driving me mad!

My local BMW dealer says the same age hatchback has a different part number for the coupe seat frames but cant confirm if they are actually different.

Anyone have any advice please?

The manual seats are able to get lower than power seats so I wonder if that's part of it. I also think there are a few threads on here of people who have done things to attempt to lower their power seats though for the reasons you've discussed.

If there is some way to make the power seats go lower, I would absolutely love to know what I need to do. Drives me mad as well..

Yes sorry mine has no sunroof and manual seats.

my seat goes down to pretty much the floor, but im kinda short at 5'9

I'm about 5'9 but the seat still doesn't still go far enough compared to my hatchback before.

I'm 5'9" and I don't even put the seat all the way down. Should be a hands width from the roof. I sit with the seat one or two clicks up and a little tilt.

When I'm driving it quick it feels like I'm tipping out the seat when getting on to the brakes! It's just not the same as my hatch much lower better position.

It drives me crazy if you would try to were helmet it is impossible I was thinking to swap seats with some other BMW model maybe z4m would work better

Can everyone who have the problem confirm they have the power seats? I have the same problem too, with power seats.
Also, I noticed that the passenger seat seems to lower more than the driver seat...?

Did you use the seat bottom tilt feature? I have mine set so that I am completely cupped by it. Also, 6'5" over here and no headroom issues...

I have manual seats and I too think the passenger sits lower than me the driver.

I was actually impressed at how low I could get the power seats to sit, but I'm only 5'8" so I don't need as much space as you tall fellows.

On a somewhat-related note, my girlfriend drives a Honda Fit and I'm appalled at how high the seat sits, with no way to adjust it lower. Feels like riding in a 4x4, except the car is tiny. Its one of the worst things about the car.

6'3 here. Seat height is/was one of my least favorite things about any BMW, particularly when there is no sunroof delete option.
