I put a lip on my lip. Not only does it disguise the already scrapped section but if it does scrap the lip will remain intact and I'll just slip the rubber back on.

It's just flexible rubber in a U shape from Clark Rubber. It actually looks OK IMO.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to include a removable rubber insert for this particular lip. I did some hard runs last night up to 170kph while logging and it didn't budge (on a private road that is). I can also now reverse out of your driveway without worrying about scrapping the shit out of it. |

If you're lowered and add a lip you just need to adjust the way you drive and you'll never scrape once you start paying attention.
Joe you mentioned that you scraped before lowering, perhaps because you took ride height for granted, but now that you're lowered and paying extra care I'm guessing you haven't scraped? |

So its not a matter of being more careful for me whilst I am driving, which I am, It just limits my accessability to certain places. |

Yeh those things are a killer! I'm pretty good at judging them now but originally I was parked a decent half meter away from the concrete kerb lol. Lucky our 1ers are relatively short. |

Not that steep..But I have scraped entering before I lowered the M. Don't under estimate the snout on the 1M.. And all that know me would attest, that I am one of the most anal on the forum, when it comes to my cars.. So why put limitations where you can park your car.. Don't get me wrong Stu.. The front lip was the next cosmetic mod on my list. The MotoGp lip that Sverma is organising is the bomb.. Just not for Zuzette.. |

Moby (my car) will be getting the evolve stage 2 treatment once break in service is done. There's a heap of reviews and comparisons (all favourable to evolve from what I've seen), but the real proof will be in my pudding Ok - I've officially high jacked my own thread. We still need 1 more to get this group buy on the road. I cant believe there 200+ 1Ms here and only 4 lip orders... |

Just a thought, go to Jaffa's '1M Register' post and send out a bunch off PM's asking if anyone is interested. Some may not be on here too often and would get an email telling them they have a message and they may reply |
