chemicalguys waterspot remover

i bought a bottle of chemical guys waterspot remover but I'm not sure what the best way to use is


directions say to use small amount with a towel, but i have waterspots on both sides of my car (like entire door) and the trunk deck lid (it rained outside)

would i have to spot clean each spot? do i do this after my car wash? before? (i afraid that scrubbing the car while the spots are still on will scratch) can I dilute a bucket of water with it and give my entire car a bath in this stuff?
