Custom Forgestar F14 17x9.5 et 62 fitment ?

I am curious if I order some 17x9.5 et62 forgestar f14 for the rear of my 135 if they will fit fine. I asked David at apex and he said in theory they should but couldn't guarantee it. I would be running a 275/40/17 nt555r or toyoy r888 in the same size. Stock sport suspension.

Or if anyone knows of another 17x9.5 et62 rim that fits on an e82 I'm all ears.

Thanks!

I just got a note regarding the Forgestar wheels, from a vendor.
I must say he has valid arguments...

Concerned over a cracked wheel? I would be more concerned over these cracked wheels here. HRE wheels typically cost $8,000+, so just imagine how these guys feel:

http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...hre-wheel.html
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/whee...s-cracked.html

Here's an ADV.1 Wheel, these wheels usually range between $9,000-$14,000 for a set:
http://www.gtrlife.com/forums/topic/...racked-wheels/

The point that I'm getting across is any person can hit a pothole and destroy a wheel, I've destroyed HRE wheels in the past that I didn't intend to like I mentioned in my last email. The funny thing about this industry and forums is that you never here the happy and good stories. I've had customers call me up after they just got into major accidents, to find to their astonishment that their Forgestar wheels didn't break. It depends on the situation, and if you beat up on a wheel hard enough and long enough, yeah of course it'll crack, but even the best wheels crack. Keep that in mind.

Best Regards ..."

I'm with dcaron9999. I don't even work with Forgestar but I know they produce a good product. You can crack, bend or break any wheel you buy. If you decide to hit a huge pothole then this will happen.

Yeah I'm sure you guys are right, no wheels is prone from cracks and you do mainly only hear about the horror stories. As far as I know options are very limited for the size and offset I need. Plus these aren't going to be rims I daily drive on and I only live a few hours away from forgestar in the event they do crack and need to be warrentied.

@805beemer I too was looking at 17" forgestars and found this thread:
http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/1072...0-data-thread/

View post on imgur.com

You should ask that s2k owner questions, his set looks real good.
Issues he raised was
- lug nut turns/ threads
- Different offset may not clear struts/shocks ( that re on an angle - I think for us thats rear end) because an 18" wheel in the same offset vs a 17 sits higher thus clearing
- BBK clearance- most fit - BUT the rotos he tested(sub 330) seemed rather small compared to 135i fronts. But we have plenty of 17's winters running on 135's

if you do get Forestars 17's, give us a very good review

EDIT:
More 17's
