Pro tune Freaks first map loaded and thoughts

Hey Guys,

Been running a Cobb V2 Stg 1 aggressive 93oct on my otherwise stock N54 for a while now and finally got my first map from protune and thought i would share my thoughts.

The cobb was very aggressive in the low to midrange I would say too aggressive and very surgy like in its power delivery, almost like it was asking too much of the car when getting hard on the gas. With the ptf tune all that is gone and now it feels more like a bmw should, smooth and torquey but still with heaps of grunt in the low - midrange and of course pulls hard all the way to redline.

Strange thing, I swear the exhaust note sounds deeper and growlier with the ptf tune, is that even possible?

Highly recommend the ptf to anyone. I'm not even sure I need to get them to touch this file up as it seems perfect to me. Good to know if I get a tbo back exhaust that I can get a suitable tune for nil!

If the tune is smoother with less boost for low throttle positions, then it might be because the wastegates are open more of the time, bypassing the turbos. Since the turbos do a good job muffling noise, having the wastegates open a bit more will make the exhaust louder.

Btw, nice meeting you at the dyno day today
