Smoking Taillights

Hey guys

how does one smoke tint taillights?

Can you do it yourself or do you have to take the tail light covers somewhere to do it for you?

Any cons?

Got a e88 120i cabriolet.

Advice would be appreciated thanks.

i wouldnt do it myself. there are various ways to do it, you could search for lights that are made tinted aftermarket, or go to your tint shop and get them tinted to your desired percentage, or they make various paint style coats. search around

Thanks. What are recommended percentages? Have no idea where to start.. 30%??

Will go to my local tint place and see what they can do. Hopefully it won't be too costly and won't block out the brake lights during the day too much.

Searched for info regarding the smoking of tail lights here but dint find anything useful.. Would've thought there would be much more talk surrounding this.. Weird..

Or maybe i'm searching for the wrong terms.

Any more advice appreciated thx
