400hp Golf R from VW
Forget the A45AMG if hot hatch is your thing.
This comes with a proper manual gearbox http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/v...421-36zgr.html |

APR have built gutsier Golf R's and GTI"s than that and probably for way cheaper than that will cost but who cares. Its still a highly strung 2.0T!
Like this one - APR 425kw gti! |

Mind you guys this one has got full VW warranty ...u know that all parts of the car works in unison and approved by VW engineers to last (to a certain extent).
Numerous tuners have come up with trick high horsepower golfs but to have this straight from the VW R division would be the trickest of them all. |

I'm not a VW fan boi at all, but it looks great and that 0-100 time is bloody awesome!
I don't see what all the hate is about? I doubt they would sell it here, but even if they did they would be in low volumes and would be a sell out before release anyway! |

Doesn't mater how much you tiz up a 4cyl it will always feel like a 4cyl and without biturbo tech you will either have a small tbo with small lag and nothing up top or big turbo with big lag and big top end.

mmm it's just hard to go back to a laggy 2.0T.. even my mates Mk6R.. whilst hilariously fun, did not make anywhere near as smooth a daily drive... and only 'similar' in fun respects, with the whole haldex thing..
modding the EA888 is a bunch harder too, which sucks a bit :/ |
