WA-recommend me a workshop in Perth!

I need a job to do general work and maintenance on my car.
[unnamed shop] want to charge an additional 50ph as I am BYO BBK, yet am getting other work done and parts/fluids supplied.

On principal I rather DIY.

Suggestions?

I've used Searle race equipment in welshpool and the mechanic Simon there was great. However, I think he is at Performance West now (same mob)
