How is that working out for you? I know this is the similar diff to what Bruce runs in his tracked out 135i. How's it handling the abuse?

Hasn't skipped a beat yet, and its really nice and quiet. This combined with the 285s provide greatly improved traction over the stock diff + 265s I had earlier.

Nice build thread! Jealous of that LSD! Stage 2+ is nuts, glad to see it on a car that'll be able to put that power down!

Took the car cover off a whole two days before i expected! Over the winter it got some new side skirts, a big Cobb front mount, M door sills and a general tune up/PCV valve replacement.

When she hooks, she pulls like a bat outta hell. Can't wait to feel second gear when its above 40 degrees outside!

Best side skirts for the 1 series! I love mine, and they look great in white too!

Hi, I'm planning to run an aggressive setup which is 8.5x18 et35 all around with 235/40/18 Michelin PSS. According to wheels and tires calculator, my front setup compared to yours, mine will be 5mm closer to the fender while my rear setup will be 2mm closer to the fender. Do you think Michelin PSS runs wider or narrower than your tires? What is your camber setup? Any suspension mods or M3 bits? Please let me know. Nice looking car by the way!!

Thanks,

Carlo

Narrower. But since you're 5mm closer on the fronts, I think you may have some fender/bumper rubbing issues. I did with my setup before making them fit. The rears will be fine however.
