Any Other West Coast People Out There Waiting?

My car was finished yesterday, April 10th (Monday), and is AWAITING TRANSPORT to Bremerhaven.

Is there anyone else whose car is going to California and was produced in the few days or next few days who knows what ship they will be on?

It would really help.

Thanks.

And, when I find out my ship, I 'll post it here.

There's only one problem, these charts say it takes only 3 weeks to get to the West Coast. Everyone else says it's 5 weeks.

The fastest I've seen on the East Coast is 3 weeks and usually 4 weeks.

I can't believe they can go that fast to California.

And, my friend at Bob Smith BMW said it's 45 days from finishing production to arrival in California. That's 6 weeks.

We'll see.

Thanks for the information.

The fastest voyage from Germany to Pt Hueneme is about 21 days...but most ships make a few stops...so you're looking at a voyage time of 23-28 days. Remember the voyage is only part of the equation: transport from the factory to the port, waiting for a ship, processing in Pt Hueneme, trucking to your dealer. 45 days from factory to your dealer is a reasonable estimate...but a week or two longer isn't unheard of.

Three weeks sounds about right. My car left on March 29 and will be unloaded in Cali on April 21.

same here, but I think we might be the batch waiting for the 4/21 ship. which kind of suck big time, since my car was done on 4/7, been waiting ever since. Seems like I got the worst of luck when it comes to waiting, first I waited 3 weeks from 3/13 to 4/1 to enter production(that's on a modified existing order, not new order), then now another 2-3 weeks to get on the damn ship, what's next 4-6 weeks for transit? Knowing my luck, my car probably will fall off the vessel or turn out to be a lemon when I get it

there were two ships this weekend that held almost 12000 cars together. I am hoping that this is just a slow update.

Are you sure, according to the link above(Bremerhaven departure), the two ships are leaving 4/21. Is that not correct?
