I will probably go with early April. The average Hi/Lo on April 1st in Boston is 51/36 degF. We can still certainly get snow in April, but it won't be around very long.

You're crazy if you drive your 1 around with stock runflat summer tires in less than 30-degree temperatures. Even if there is no snow on the road, the summer rubber does not grip at all when it is cold out.

I did auto-X with the stock runflats. They're perfectly fine for everyday driving. Slightly harsh, avoid potholes. Handles wet conditions fine as well.

I use stock all seasons, no real problems in snow, at least no more than anyone else. When there is a ton of snow, everyone else gets stuck too.

ok it snowed 8 freakin inches on sunday, its tuesday and theres no sight of it on the roads. if it snows another 8 for a day, i can catch a ride for a day.........
