WTB: 17x9 square setup

If you have a set of 17x9 wheels sitting around let me know. Located in central OH and willing to travel or pay shipping if reasonable compared to just buying new. The goal is a square track/autoX setup for the Falken rt660 245/40r17s I got that might be too wide for my Kosei K1s to clear the rear fender.

Thanks for looking.

You may not need it…..will wholly depend on what you run for -ve rear camber. I presume your K1s are 17x8.5 ET40……if you run -2.2* or more you ‘should’ be fine.

For reference: I’m able to squeeze 17x9 ET45 with A052s (10.2” treadwidth) with rolled fenders, -2.2* camber. These tires/wheels poke 1.3mm more and extend inboard 11.3mm more than the RT660 set up you’re proposing. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...h=9&offset2=45

If I pushed camber more, then the fender roll would ‘probably’ not be required.

Getting the wheel hub face machined a couple mm might also be a less expensive option for you too (if you need more room), although it’s completely dependent on the original wheel design.

Apologies for cluttering your ad.

I really appreciate the note actually. I’d rather not spend money on replacing wheels so first hand experience is priceless.

I was considering just mounting them up and see where it lands, then add camber and maybe roll the fenders as needed.

Do you run this setup for track/autoX? Are you lowered at all?
