Need some advice.

Here is my situation.

I got my car brand new June 2009. Until Feb. '11 I had only 24k miles on it, which is not that bad from yearly milage perspective. But since Feb. I am driving 125 miles back and forth for work which equates roughly 35k-40k miles/year...I am literally raping the car with miles. Which means, I am never going to catch the market value of the car vs what I owe on it. I currently have 39k miles. With this pace, I will hit 50k miles, in the next 4 months.

What shall I do? I have a track car, I don't track my 128 anymore. Shall I just get a kleenex car like honda civic and hate my life?

thanks.

If the 28i engine is pretty maintenance free like everyone else on the forum was telling me about my upcoming warranty dilemma then I would just keep it like I will probably do now.

Do you really like driving it to work? Then be damned with the cost and just drive it; life is too short to give it up.

OTOH, if you're not that into it, then get a used Civic...

I drive 85 miles round trip mon-fri. I know what you mean Evice. I chose the 128i knowing i would put miles and give it maintenance myself. I get so pissed that sometimes i consider selling my house and moving closer to my job. But then i realize cars get old and its time to trade. I bought my car for 21k with 18500 miles so im ok with it i guess. It would suck to buy a third car just to save miles and add another insurance payment.

Toaster w/ wheels

Driving an appliance every day will require a few Kleenex.

A coworker bought a Honda Insight hybrid over the Internet a while back for around $13k for a long distance relationship and 55mpg...
