ACS1: Alcantara / Carbon / Verde Ithaca

Hey guys,

I just finished the next round of mods for this season!
I started with a new front end incl. modded air ducts and a modified icarbon lip because of the bad fitment of the origin lip.
Now the lip looks more aggressive than a common icarbon lip and is way more solid. Had the gaps filled up and finished it with new layers of cf and some clear coat. Then I retrofitted the prefacelift mirrors and upgraded to all functions.
The gauge was customized with red needles and white lightning, I played with some color and used lamborghini verde ithaca perl, installed the illuminated bmwp door sills and finished it off by exchanging all interior lights with leds.

I really like the alcantara covered binnicle. I wish I could find someone in this area to cover mine.

Isn't the N55 (and N54) is a 3.0 turbo?

Yes that`s all. But we filled the area where we cutted the bar out with some molded plastic. Then we resprayed it!

Yes you are right!
125,128,130 and 135 are all 3.0L engines.
But to get a difference they say 2.8i and so an.
Please keep in mind that it doesn`t say 3,5L but 3.5i.
BMW does the same by naming it 35i.

and my car is a certified ac schnitzer car and they use this terms.

You should do the lettering on the oil filler cap in neon green to match.

Love the car, very bold on the fluro green accents

What roof spoiler do you have there? Attach it with 3M tape I presume?

That`s a great idea!
I `m going to paint to piece where the studie sticker is attached on (dunno the term lol) and the two small pieces in front of it.
Thought of painting the scoops too, but not sure about it.

because it was looking to friendly imo.
it`s a shame that there is no aggressive lip for that bumper!

I love the look of the new carbon lip. looks so mean!

Noticed you have the AFE Sealed Stage 2 intake - how are you liking it? I'm thinking of picking it up as I'm not a fan of open units. (they are illegal here).

That`s an ac schnitzer knob. Best knob I ever had!
This is a limited edition from their birthday. There are only 20 pieces of it.

But you can get almost the same, just with a different schnitzer emblem.

ah, btw. I will have some done work at manhart racing next week!!

Very tasteful mods to your car but I'll never be a fan of any AC Schnitzer wheels. I just don't understand that style.
