Lemans Blue 135i -10+ hours of detailing..
Results are amazing.. It still have some fine scratches from the factory but you have to see them at certain angle only. Polish with Menzerna Intensive Polish, than PO85RD, finally top with Klasse sealant. Way better than new from factory.. These products are amazing!

Hehe, thanks guys, I have 2 coats of klasse sealants, they bond very well on the car, once you buff them and they get dry, it's not easy to wipe it off with dry microfiber towel, I have to use quick detailers to help.

Yup, the SIP and 85RD are great product. I saw how shiny BlackjackMulligan's 135 is, that's why I chose them. Yes, it start to snow here again.. lucky that I can park my car inside my office and start detailing it when I am off.

Looks fantastic. My Le Mans Blue ZMP 135 is being built now and my shadowline grills are waiting for install.
Do you have a shot from behind? And I mean the car of course. I think I might try Klasse all in one and P21s over that. I'd be pleased if it turns out half as good as this. Thoughts? |

malapane, I think it's better for you to pick up the car first and then inspect the car's condition. Most bimmer these days come with lots of different level of scartches.. depends on how bad they are, use products accordingly. I think Klasse all in one is good and P21s are good wax. I was aiming for something that last long, that's why I choose Klasse sealant.

Every time I look at this color the more I hope I don't regret ordering Black Sapphire down the road. Le mans looks awesome on the 1.

The two Menzerna products are Polishing compounds right? Were you at all nervous to take that approach? Is there any risk? I have never used polishing compunds on a clear coat finish. What is your polishing process. What are your tricks and tips? Did you start with the Intensive because the paint had a significant amount of scratches, remove winter damage, or more just to smooth the paint? If the finish was in better shape, would you have still polished it?
