San Diego folks - You guys all wash you cars yourselves???
Just curious, anyone take their 1 to get it washed? or do you all just wash it at home? Or do you just wait til its raining outside like the last few days

I always take mine down to the (or what used to be called the) Happy Cow Carwash. Swipe your credit card, and wash as long as you want, and then hit the stop button when you're done. Best car washing system I've seen.

Where is this at? Might just do that. My HOA doesn't allow any carwashing . I am tired of waking up 3am in the morning just to wash my car, LOL! |

Are there any good car washes close to/in downtown? Either self wash or a "decent" automatic?

My complex has no means for residents to wash their own vehicles, but my employer has a detail service that comes to my office every Friday. They do a complete in/out detail (minus wax) for $20. Also the wash at Normal St. & Washington Ave. is pretty good and coupons are plentiful on the back of Ralph's grocery receipts.
