No more amber corner signal!

I don't know about you guys, but I can't stand the Amber in my headlight, so I think I'm the first to try this, I may be wrong, but this was the option I chose to upgrade my lighs. I love the aggressive look! What you guys think?

definitely not the first to try. Not by a long shot. I really do think the amber delete looks better than the blackout cover

People have been doing this for years, using black or silver vinyl and different tints.

I personally dont like my amber corners that much and would love to replace them but from a visual perspective I dont feel the look of the blacked out corners makes the car look cleaner.

I know people have been doing it for years, I did it to my e36 m3 back in high school. I was only refereeing to it being done to an e82. I haven't seen one atleast.

I meant people have been doing it on e82's for years. Some companies make it pre-cut for our cars too. None the less, props for doing it yourself. Any other mods planned for the car?

I understand what you're saying now. I did research first and I have never seen it but I'll take your word on it. Thanx for the props. A front lip & diffuser are next. Contemplating the carbon look or not for now atleast

mdecals

A seller named mdecals sells precut covers on ebay. What did you end up using, dark tint? I think your lights came out good.

I bought the tinted ones, put them on and thought it kind of looked crappy. The product was of good quality, but if you wanna do it, do it... Go euro lights or OSS. But that's me!

oss

I agree something like oss look the best, but the price is holding me back. I wish there was an affordable option to paint the inside of the headlights black and remove the orange. i haven't found any though.

I didn't want a precut piece added. I used about 15% tint. Enough to darken the amber but just enough to show it glow also

On the black, use black. How would this look if you color matched the amber cover?

I don't care for the amber, but I also don't like how most covers effectively change the lines and shape of the visible headlight assembly and eliminate the corner. So for me, the European non-amber headlight assemblies would be the only way to go.

If it was my car, I would peel those covers off so that my turn signal indicators function as intended... to communicate my intentions to other motorists.

For me I vote euro or leave the amber but this doesn't look bad on black. I think only a black car could pull this mod off.
