17" fitment, just want to be sure...
I hate to start a whole new thread, but I just want to be sure. I plan on ordering The Sparco Pista 17x8 40mm offset with 245/40/17 all around as an autox/track day setup. After going through multiple threads, it seems like this setup will work w/o issues, but i just wanted to see what others think before I place the order. The car has stock suspension right now, but will probably go with eibach pro kit springs (1.2" drop) sometime in the future. Should it still be ok? I'm not against getting camber plates if needed.

I do know that 235/40 R17 with 17x8 rims (offset 40) work perfectly well with the stock suspension setup. It has been my summer/track setup. No issues at all with any rubbing.
Some people say 245's are OK, but others say 245's will rub with stock suspension setup.

thanks for the input. I think I'll go with the 245's and cross my fingers. I forgot about the alignment pin mod, I suppose I can try that if there are any issues. If not, camber plates it is!

Sounds good, good luck. When you drop the car I gaurantee you will need the camber plates.
