PPK1 AND PE Exhaust?
So I'm about to order the PPK1 from Tischer for my n55 135i m-sport.. question is, should I include the exhaust? Does the PPK1 change the exhaust note that drastically without the PE exhaust? Would I be essentially just throwing away money for the PE exhaust? Are there any gains to be had, even top end w/ it?
For those that think money better spent on a JB4, etc.. I want to keep my factory warranty.. On that same note, does the PE exhaust drone a lot? Thanks |

I would first get the PPK sw and see what YOU think. Its fantastic sound and the added tq. The PE is pure sex! You will love it. But you don't really need to do both at the same time. But I would not wait too long. BMW has been discontinuing some Performance stuff like the SSK(short shift kit) for the 6MT.

PE will enhance the burbling noise by 30%+ (subjective measurement of course). I have that "combo" in my car, check the vid below:
N55 PPK1 + BMW PE sound (with Y-pipe): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nD-Il_abYD8 Drone? Yes a bit, at least with DCT in gear7 at 60-70mph with almost no throttle (2000 to 2300rpm) good luck! Last edited by BattleRaT; 09-10-2014 at 01:34 PM.. |
