Ah! Break In Period And Adaptive Transmission!

I'm following the recommended break in period religiously but i'm worried that my car is not adapting to the real me.

Will my car recognize me at all when I start driving it like it's stolen?

This is mostly in jest but how does adaptive transmission really work?

I'm trying to rev it up as much as I can, and yet stay below the 4500rpm limit until 1200 mi.

I believe you can just reset it after the break-in period. There's some procedure that has to do with having the power on, but engine off and holding the gas pedal all the way down to the floor for x amount of time, etc.

Plus it'll just adapt to the NEW you.
