Notes
+ Australian states have their own rules governing vehicle modifications, so this definition of street car is not meant to be a comment on laws about what can be legally road registered, but a way of comparing like vehicles

* Street Cars *
+ To qualify for this list your car must run on an ANDRA (or equivalent) certified drag strip, with timeslip and/or video proof. Your timeslip will show the full set of timings (including ET and trap speed, 60' time) the track location, plus the date of the event and usually the weather station data (air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure)
+ Required information:
A Your full name
B Transmission on car
C Wheels and tyres used
D Diff modifications (LSD type etc)
E Performance modifications (including any electronics, suspension, etc)

+ Only regular Australian posters to 1Addicts will be included
+ Please post any updates or corrections here, I will keep it updated

+ Every state has differing laws about what constitutes a "street legal" vehicle. I've defined a non streetcar as follows:
- Chassis modifications (includes full tube chassis, backhalved vehicles, wheel tubs)
- Clearancing to fit larger rubber under the bodywork, widebody conversions are permitted so long as the maximum tire size does not exceed 26"x10"x15". Rolling the OEM fender lip is permitted
- Live axle replacing an OEM IRS setup (like Ford 9" or aftermarket 9" conversions)
- Competition gearboxes (clutchless, boxes that cannot downshift or pop into neutral when you get off the gas like Liberty, G Force, Jerico)
- Exhaust that does not exit at the rear of the vehicle
- Lexan replacing glass windows
- Feel free to post feedback on the above if you have an improvement, correction or addition

Given the increasing interest in drag racing our little beasts I thought having our own Australian drag racing list might be fun!

If you've got a timeslip/video please post it up here with the supporting info!

I can change the cutoff if that makes sense? I just used the ANDRA cutoff number but we can use any cutoff or even no cutoff at all!

i say no cut off... would make sense?
that way once everyone has a time under their belt we can see where we stand, i would think that most 125ers & the majority of 130's wont crack that 13sec barrier being NA sucks sometimes

Great thread!!

Lets show all from slowest to fastest. It would be great to see what mods can do on the strip and an updated ranking as it happens.

I wont get to the strip for at least another month

yeah good idea, I removed the 12.999 ET cutoff now anyone can post their timeslip as long as it is on an ANDRA approved track.

I agree. I also have a six and a four year old and it would be almost impossible. Went to WSID two weeks ago and absolutely froze my nuts off. Only just started going again after a 5 year drought. I loved the old WSID days with my GTR.

Could get another 0.2-0.3 out of the launch though I reckon.
