I basically retired all my True Religion jeans the moment they became a Jersey Shore staple. LOL But yeah, while I wore them I'd have issues, which is especially true if you have softer leather (which Boston is not). Given the grade of leather in the 1-ers, I'd say let her ride.

received a really bad 3inch scratch once a friend wore some jeans where the rivets were located very low on the pockets and therefore there was a lot of weight/pressure on them ...last time my gf bought some new jeans sporting some sharp metal zipper teeth as pocket decoration i told her: you wont sit in the new 1M with those jeans!

An automotive trim shop should be able to help. They can repair cuts, nicks or slits in seats, dashboards. These types of damage often occur when vehicles are broken into.
Even a 1-2" slit on something like an upper door panel can be repaired to as new condition. Most of you wouldn't believe it until you have seen it. Typically brick and mortar shops that do this also repair and install convertible tops. Many dealers have a mobile repair services person that they sublet this type of work to, so if you don't find anything in your local yellow pages, then contact a car dealer and see whom they recommend. |
