I have a question but t not sure if anyone had an answer. I asked for the service records for my car since I am the second owner. Apparently the dealer only has what service they did to the car and the car was purchased at another dealership in Virginia. I will reach out to them but I noticed they put something called zmax in it. It sounds like an oil additive. Is this normal?

Ooh, that is a good place to be. Wish I could take my car there. Ironically, I was just on their site last night putting together a purchase of various goodies, in part cause I kinda want to try the nanolex tire dressing and they seem to be one of the only places that sell it.
They beautifying yours up? Maybe even going to do a write up of it with photos? Tell them to put some nanolex on your tires so you can let me know what you think. hehe. I'm getting too old and too crippled to put that kind of time and effort into properly detailing my car, yet love their results. |

Looking good. Do you have the performance suspension? I see yellow springs.
And can you ask them what their favorite tire dressing they sell is? Or what they think of the nanolex tire stuff? They seem to be using nanolex products on everything of late. |

My all time favorite has been SwissWax Pneu for tires. I usually use Adams VRT. It is not shiny. Finishes clean and flat. Last edited by 2PUTT; 01-12-2017 at 02:31 PM.. |

Just thought some of you might enjoy this video of what IEDEI is up to these days, as he's now working as a mailman. Guess things don't change much.

Wow, banished from 1addicts and then he spirals out of control and does a complete career change? Man, he SWORE he'd never get an SUV to haul his family around. I think this is his way of hiding it, as he now straps two car seats in the back and takes his kids on his route with him. They just love doing snow donuts!

4+ year reunion time
Over half a million views on this thread, but it has been dying a slow death!
Time for a 4 year reunion / check-in with some of the very first 135is owners. Tell us: Do you still have the 135is? If not, when did you sell it and what are you driving now? Anything else of interest about the car. There may not be much interest, but this is at least worth a try. How about a weigh in from: mb135is Pyrat 2 Elwood74 eywflyer gregthegr8 NavyChop93 AGAV13 Chunner bp-plickner owen2001 CAVU Worra Bama335 + anyone else I might have misssed.... |

I still have mine, coming up on 4 years now. It is still a blast, and has been completely trouble-free and still looks and drives like new. I still love the 6 MT, exhaust and wonderful last-of-the-good hydraulic steering. No complaints.
My lease end is coming up soon. The practical side of me says, buy it out, slap on a set of MPSS and continue to enjoy it. The "scratch that itch" side of me says sell it and find a new toy. So not sure yet....I will be buying it, but I may be putting it on the market soon! |

I said goodbye to my 135is last July, a few days before the scheduled PCD of an M2. I loved the 135is, and would have been perfectly happy to own it forever. The M2 is quicker and handles better, and even rides a little bit better (I installed the BMW PS on the 135is), but isn't necessarily more fun to drive on a daily basis.
