lag from dead stop to go

Ive noticed with this car that it totally lags when i floor it when i start from a dead stop when in automatic/sport auto mode. i get a little bit more of jump when i start on 1st when in manual. Is this problem fixed with the software update? i already scheduled mine on the 31st at Savage BMW. Your reply will be much appreciated.

This has come up several times before here. [Disclaimer: I don't have my car yet so I'm not speaking directly from my experience.] The transmission on the car "learns" how you drive and adjusts accordingly. It may take it a while to completely adapt to how you drive. Other people have mentioned that the response seems to get better as time goes on.

That link above. Wow. Incredible. Makes me very weary about BMW dealers.

Many BMW dealers are first class from what I have read, and from my personal experience as well. It's just that the link above is so brutal...
