1 and a Z
My parents have a really unique '98 Z3, and I took some time over my long-weekend to detail their beautiful (but neglected!) Zed.
For the curious, the color is officially "turquoise green," but we've always explained it as "crest" (like the toothpaste). My 128 is in the shot to keep things on topic. Enjoy! edit: My 1 turns 1 today!

nice Z3... I would be very tempted to swap the N54 into that thing and create a m roadster killer.

If I ever end up being able to purchase the Z3 from the 'rents, then that may very well be something I'd be tempted to do. Even pulling the S54 would be amazing, and likely an easier fit.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Yes, the 128 looks much, much better with 18s, and the 264s in particular just seem to compliment the lines of the car very well. Thanks to jtsherri for those!
As for the color on the Z3, I know it's not the only one, but I've seen very few. In my completely incomplete research, I've found 5 others in the country, of which one was totaled. I'd love to get a figure from BMW some day. I'd imagine there must be more, but it was certainly not popular. I know two were sold from Kelly BMW (where my parents purchased): theirs, and someone else's who saw ours come off the truck and ran inside to change the color on their existing order. Sadly, that's the one I know ended up totaled, as I was driving the Z one day and the other one pulled up in pieces on a flatbed truck next to me. It was very tragic – I hope the owners are okay.
