WTF? why is this POS so slow?

So i went to Island Dragway in NY this past Sunday.

Its a 2008 135i Auto Msport with 32k miles.

Car has stock RUN FLATS, 93 Pump Gas, JB4 map 1 and twin intakes. Car ran best time of 12.9 @106mph

I tried Map 5 which is auto tune with the same results, the trans shifts itself at 6200 even though i have it in MS mode

here are some pics ...

I heard Island Dragway sucks, but is this normal?

How can i improve this? and Can the trans be tuned to stay in gear longer?

Tire / rims are your major hold back right now. Needs more traction and stock run flats don't provide that.

Don't forget that dci's rob power from you till you have significantly more mods. Especially when launching

If you still have stock intake, try some runs with that to see if there are any improvements.

Island does suck.

It's not the tires when he's pulling 1.9 60ft times, I couldn't hit that on r888's. Those 60 foots seem incredible to me on run flats. Go get a dyno and see what your putting down. I would think you should see significantly better times, especially on map 5. Get a dyno or post a log if you can.

If you are on 91 octane that should be about right depending on the temp/humidity, trap speeds really don't change that much since you travel only a few feet by the time you are fully hooked up but I would expect it to be more around 110. Heat soak may be your problem, the humid/hot nebraska air robs me of a lot of power.

if you don't know what a dci is... you shouldn't be judging you times yet.

Your 60' times are not bad, so It's not just the runflats.

Are you aware of how much these cars carbon up? I had my 08 cleaned at 44K and the amount of build up especially on 5 and 6 was insane. Robbed me of at least 20hp.
