anyone know how to get to the fuse box? I looked in the manual, and found that it is above the glove box, but i had a tough time trying to undertstand the directions in the manual on how to remove the glove box.

Not sure if this helps... check out the middle of the pdf- (pages 8 & 9) shows the X5.. I believe ours just have two white clips to push to access the fuse box behind the glove box. Let me know if this works.

I pulled it in my former 3 series to replace the circuit for cigarette lighter- no I don't smoke... but I do use it for things. That sounds worse than it should. Mainly it didn't work and I wanted it to? HA.

I dunno why ItalianTank wanted to...

was looking to pull a fuse for my lights, my HIDs arent working the HID turns on when the car is on but not started, when i start the car, the HID shutter on then go off, and then i get a picture of the lightbulb, so i figured maybe pulling that fuse might change something but i couldn't get to it, was too small

Yeah, I already have small hands, and it was still for me to get out.
