Best way to repair undercarriage plastic shroud?

The plastic undercarriage shroud/cover that runs from the front bumper to the back of the engine area has a big crack in it that runs almost all the way across from front wheel to front wheel. No missing sections, just a crack from where I bottomed out. I was planning on pulling it off and just gluing/repairing it rather than replacing, and was thinking about just fiberglassing the inside portion of the crack.

Any other suggestions, or do you think that would suffice?

Google "Solvent welding plastics"

Short version is that often, depending on the exact types(s) of plastic, Acetone will rebond the parts at a molecular level. Works especially well for cracked parts that you just need to rejoin. Takes very very little to do the trick.

Alas, I'm still so new to the 135 that I haven't even touched the under tray yet to know if it's the right material for this to work. If it is tho you can easily get Acetone everywhere- paint department of lowes/home depot/walmart etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I have some acetone that I use for essentially melting and shaping the ferrules on golf club shafts to mate with the clubhead. It is powerful stuff, so I'll give it a try.
