Sport Seat Adjustment
LOL I've owned by car for a couple months today and I just saw the button to adjust the sport side bolsters...pretty damn cool. I thought because my seats are manual it didn't have this option and low and behold it does

Getting the bolsters the right width for you helps in an autocross a lot. I think it also makes the seat more comfortable for normal driving.

See "backrest width" on attached. You should also have lumbar support - And now that I'm looking at the manual, I didn't realize you could raise and lower the lumbar bubble! Sweet.

Yeah I didn't realize I had this until I had my car for many months. It really is awesome for road racers and autocrossers. I tighten it for autocrossing, then set it a bit looser again for daily driving. Also nice for when you are wearing a thick coat in winter.

That round switch with the arrows is only for cars with electric seats premium package. BMW did see the error of the ways though... bc on the F20 you can get manual seats with adjustable lumbar support.

The manual seats have no lumbar adjustment... At least mine don't have 'em.

IF my car had that round switch... you could move the lumbar support up or down the seat back.

The seats on this car are absolutely magical and perhaps arguably the best feature of the sports package. I have sat in many nice cars, albeit not many sports cars, and I have yet to find the support and comfort I have found in these puppies. The only other seats that I must say left me very impressed were the E60 M5 seats with the dynamic side bolsters which tightened to hold your body depending on which side the car was turned.

Hey all - my side seat bolsters don't seem to stay inflated..at the very least they seem to deflate once the car is turned off and then I come back to it after a period of time. They may actually do it on relatively long drives as well because I always seem to be inflating them to keep them tight to my sides. Anyone have this problem or is a trip to the dealer in my future? Thanks all!

After the sales rep showed me the bolster adjustment, sport seats were a must-have. Soft, supportive, and comfortable for hours at a time. Truly my favorite feature in the car.

Resurrecting an old post here.... After nearly 6 months of owning my 135 I just noticed these switches for the side bolstering, and I cant believe the comfort ive been missing out on.... One question I have though, is can I overinflate these? I can't seem to find an answer (yes I've used the search button/Google.com for all you cheeky buggers Haha ) While holding down the front switch it just keeps pumping and doesn't stop. I'm quite skinny and don't want to overinflate and cause damage to the car just for my comfort.
Thanks.
