Regular Ontario Sunday Meet??

Hi all,

I just wondered with all this talk of Meets, if anyone would be interested in the following for starters? Something that could springboard a more regular club meet in the future!?!?!?

Ok - so I used to live in Sharon (nth Newmarket) and en route to work in Ajax one day, I was introduced to the 'Sunrise Grill cafe'. The food is good, surrounding roads are quite entertaining, the car park (whilst not big) would entertain a decent # of us owners!

My thoughts were (because I work Saturdays), a regular Sunday morning meet at say 11am! We can pre call and give an idea of numbers attending, grab a brunch/breakfast, and go for a little drive

I was thinking along the lines of a 'regular 3rd Sunday' of every month - however I'm away this and next Sunday's, so would anyone be up for Sunday Feb 28th as a trial run??

Address for the 'Sunrise Grill' in question is 11087 Woodbine Avenue, North Markham, ON L6C 1J4 (literally off at Elgin Mills on HWY 404).

Thoughts please gang??

Good idea but location isn't to central... this location would only be good for those in Markham and Richmondhill but most of the members are more in the central area. I for one am in North York like a few members. Maybe only 2-3 are in your area that comes out for our meets so far.

A more central location for everyone would be more thoughtful.

Just a thought.

i could show up in my E46 M3. Im getting a 135 lol. Not gonna get a 335is cause i dont want to wait till June to do my ED lol

I would be in. I don't really care how far it is cause then I get to drive more.

I would also like to setup a track day at Cayuga. I am going to be taking drag racing lessons this spring and will likely be getting my car ready with the goal to run in the 11s.

A late summer, early fall track event would be a blast!

am down with the track event but wouldn't a road course be more fun, upgrade that JB+ to a JB3 2.0 Irish and a few other mods and you will be in the 11s

I think somewhere like vaughn mills may be more central for everyone, but anywhere along the 407 is good for me!

Hello all!
i just recently got my 135i and would definately be interested in attending! i live in oshawa but i dont care where we meet. lol the farther the better so i can drive more! this car has brought back the joy of driving again!!

My friend and I both own 1ers (mine still on the way tho >.<) but we'd both be interested in attenting, we're both in the markham area but don't care where we drive either. The further the more fun. Once a month on Sundays would be perfectly fine for us. Might not be able to make this Feb but March for sure.

Ok gang, how's about a meet at Colosuss just after Vaughn Mills (heading North) off the 400 on Sunday 6th March??

Say 11am.........!

Do we want to keep this 1 series only or does anyone else feel that if we are now meeting in such a big car park, that other 'series' owners could pop along too??

what about a saturday evening meet? vaughan mills? there is a timmy's near by for some coffee and plenty of parking space. Right beside the audi dealership.

I was at Keiron's yesterday and I have seen what you are working on first hand. Its impressive and very clean, can't wait to see it completed!
