How about only race axle back ( muffler delete ) how loud is it ?

Does the Berk or AA muffler delete still have that french horn sound at certain RPM's? I have heard some vids with this noise and it is not a fun sound. I wanted to go with a muffler delete to save extra weight.

From what I have read they fixed the issue. I just placed an order for the race exhaust, and so did another person from the forums. Ill post up videos when I get it on.

Ya let me know for sure. I have held off on exhaust for this reason. I do not want a muffler and I do not want that weird sound either. I am trying to dump weight out of the car.

can you post a link of this video/sound you speak of? this would completely suck if it sounds like you say!

i thought i had seen all the vids where it sounded sweet thats why i pulled the trigger.

There are a couple of others on yutube if you look around. If they fixed it then I am all over it since I like the sound out the back of the car. Also the other vid below is of the afe exhaust. forward to 1:22 and listen as he drives away. You can hear the car whistlin a little tune as is drives away then towards the camera.

This video is using the exact same muffler delete that we are shipping now. The same parts on our website are exactly the same parts we sell to the general public.

I hear nothing but sweetness in the video.

Yes i found some vids last night but thank you. i hope my doesnt sounds like this or it will have go back.

im wondering if this will happen to the n55 that doesnt have the secondary cats because all the vids i see is just the muffler on n54 not complete race system.

once i get it on i will post vids and full review so everyone know how it works out.

YES please do i am wanting a berk race exhaust as well. I need something throaty, loud, and racey! Cant seem to find the exact sound i want on any other exhausts. closest would be Active Autowerke

I hope one of the people that said they just ordered the muffler delete posts soon. I am getting the bug for exhaust. I may have to see if I can go down to Berk to check it out myself. I usually end up buying if the part is sitting in front of my face and I hear it person. I am going to pair it with some Raceland DP's

I have my 135i here that is essentially the same as what your setup will be. I'm running my own catless DP, midpipes, & muffler delete.
