the appearance is major. However, the performance benefits of widened TRAK is not miniscule by any means. widened trak will improve handling and stability of the car and one of the biggest benefits (not specific to the 1er) is the fact that you will be able to allow bigger brake kits.

some and many are afraid of the potential adverse effects of using spacers.
i am not opposed to running them as long as they are good quality hub centric spacers. some of the thinner spacers will not be hub centric as spacer as they are thinner than the hub collar but the combination will still allow it to be a hub centric spacer.

hope this helps!

I have also done modified spacer packages for members with differing setups. Feel free to let me know what you need!

Tire Rack specs the section widths and tread widths to be almost identical as the stock Bridgestone RFT's, but I wonder whether the Yoko's will run with your suggested 18mm front and 10mm rear spacers.

The poster with the Dunlop Direzza's indicated he rubbed, but his tires were 225F and 255R.....which are about 1/4 inch or 5-6mm wider.

Any experience from customers with the Yokohama's on this setup?

So I will answer my own question for the benefit of others who may be running the Yokohama S drives.......

I just put these spacers on this week and they work perfectly with them.

Nice look = fills up the fenders but doesn't look like you are poking out beyond the edge......just up to it.

Highly recommended.

Now if I could just figure out how to install the Macht Schnell airscoops. I honestly thought they simply dropped in beneath the stock air plenum, but looks like this is not the case.

Thank you for the orders guys, and Thank you for the quick review llma! If you have any questions on installing the scoops give us a call. All you have to do is drill a couple holes in the plastic and use the supplied screws.

Thanks.....

Finally got the scoops installed.

Attaching them was no problem. Getting the kidney grills off took more time than installing the scoops....lol.

I am not a big believer in scoops, but I must say the Macht Scnell ones are really well designed..

Nice thick plastic which will not corrode, and they curve quite a bit towards the kidney grills, so that airflow can still reach behind them and get through the radiator.

Called WheelSTO and confirmed that I should have no problems with the +15mm/+10mm setup with Eibach Pro Kit on stock wheels. Order placed - Should get them next week. Will post pictures when I get them on.
